MPF Intensive 2022

DETAILS

The Music Policy Forum Intensive is a day-long, invitation-only, off-the-record gathering of leading music advocates and stakeholders from across the world. Last year's event was  in Boise, Idaho at the Treefort Music Hall on December 7, 2023. Next year's event will be in Fall 2024 in King County, Washington.

The Intensive is a fast-moving, provocative event that allows delegates to explore some of the most important issues facing our community through framing presentations and facilitated small group discussions. It is an intimate, off-the-record opportunity to reconnect with old allies, make new friends, share your experiences, and explore new ways of thinking in a supportive, collaborative environment.

The one-day event facilitates a series of critical questions in a small group format. Throughout the day, delegates cycle through assigned tables, engaging and exchanging ideas with artists, policy makers, nonprofit leaders, venue operators, and other community stakeholders. At the end of the day, MPF Intensive delegates have shared concerns, challenges, best practices, and fresh thinking  with dozens of their peers. They leave with stronger relationships, inspiration and ideas, and the learning that comes from actively participating, not just passively listening.
